To keep our stores fresh and on trend, we are in constant search for new looks, lines and labels. A few of our favorite top lines this 2012 Fall/Holiday Season include:
Bobi – A great American made cotton top line – can’t beat the easy styles and for being American made, they keep the costs down nicely!
Dusak – Every season this is a favorite top line. It’s colorful and has super body flattering and interesting styles with draping, ruching, wrapping, and halter tops that come with padded bras – what more could a girl ask for?
Neesha - well priced throw on cute tops that are perfect for layering under sweaters and jackets because of their easy wearing jersey material and the added finesse of a little ruching in the mid-sections.
Last Tango – Forget diamonds – ruching is a girl’s best friend! These tops are great for layering under open cardigans or jackets (or you can even wear them alone!) The scoop neck and ruched middle flatter all – really!
Elan – Sweaters, tops, tunics – and most for under $80. We are definitely in love with this California brand!
Boho Chic - It’s back and we are so excited! First shipment will arrive in December. Always body friendly and a perfect top to make you look pulled together – with very little thought!
Scrapbook – We have really grown to love this California line. It has the mixed textures and bohemian styling of Free People without the over the top pricing. Any scrapbook piece is worthy of a second look!
Other favorites to watch for include: Kensie, Tulle, BB Dakota, Hazel, and so many many more!!!
This fall, it’s all about colored denim! Yes. . . we are going to jump in to the trend and we will do this together and help find easy ways to appropriately fit it in our JCTS lifestyles!
Incoming Colors and Brands:
Silver Jeans – Aiko Skinny in Bronze (you know this is going to be a friendly fit – Silver jeans always are!)
Liverpool - The price is as easy as the fit – $79! This brand new British line is truly a magical fitting jean – you have to try it to believe it. Available in skinny, straight, and bootcut. Available colors: Granite, Khakie, Lime, and of course, a dark wash denim (which is, by the way, the softest denim we hae ever felt!)
Miss Me – You know it’s a hot trend if Miss Me even joined in on the colored denim revolution! A gorgeous Golden Brown cotton twill is available in a skinny leg with the usual signature MM flap pockets with a little bling!
Kut Denim – The favorite and friendly Diana skinny fit is on the floor right now in a Deep Purple, and a Raspberry. Dark enough that they are flattering on the thighs and the color is so easy to work with.
Mavi Jeans – The Alexa (great curvy fit) skinny coming has moved into a first place favorite in all of our shops! The higher rise and soft denim make them feel like you could take a yoga class in them! Available in a grey Python Print and a Wild Plum. If you don’t do color – be sure and try these in the the black rinse and deep indigo – you will fall in love!
Campbell Chase – Another great fitting new line! Pull on styling zaps muffin tops and the curvy comfy fit with slim legs has been a huge hit! Available in Espresso and Pewter.
We can’t live on just colored jeans alone. . . Favorite Denim Lines this Fall will offer a wide variety of styling, stitching, pocket detailing. And, yes, Skinnies, Straights and Bootcuts are all IN! The hottest look is the jean that looks the best on your body type!
Silver Jeans – these are always number one! We only stock the original fits which offer a more curvy fit. These hip and cool jeans are ageless and timeless! They always sell out quickly – if there is a certain style that you like, be sure to get our our “call list” for when they come in!
Liverpool – we are in love with the fit and pricing of this new British denim line. At under $79 per pair and with a magical “sisterhood of the traveling pants” type fit – you gotta try them!
Mavi – the super softest denim ever! Clean pockets and lines offer a very flattering silhouette on these jeans. We are partial to the fabulous Alexa curvy fit with the mid-rise.
La Idol – Wow! The bling. . . the price. . . the fit! These don’t hang around long!
Kut Denim – always a favorite because of the mid-rise and great “stitchy” styling .
Jag Jeans – This line has been around for a long time, but each season it is still fresh. This season they have hit it our of the ballpark with their pull-on jeans! You have to try them to believe! (Hanger appeal is not as good as body appeal!)
Other lines to watch out for this Fall/Holiday:
Volatile – Wedge boots, lace up shoes and booties, and shoe-boots (“shooties”). . . perfect to pair with the denim in the store!
Scarves, Scarves, and more Scarves! At $24-$32 – they reallly do fly out the door! A perfect colorful pop to finish off almost any outfit!
Luv for Anouka - we are hooked on these stylish thermal tops! So soft and comfy, yet can be layered under a sequined cardi, leather jacket, or sweatshirt. You can wear these anywhere! Several colors available.
